Course Overview

Unlike other Level 2 courses to become a gym instructor, our course is more similar to a Level 3 Personal Trainer course which means if or when you choose to undertake the higher qualification you are well prepared.

This course is a standalone qualification in itself, enabling you to work as a Gym based Instructor, and is also an essential element of the Level 3 Personal Trainer Course qualification. As such it is included within all of our other personal training courses.

The Level 2 Gym Instructor course (sometimes referred to as a Level 2 Fitness Instructor course) is your starting point within the fitness industry and from where you can continue to develop your career as a personal trainer. The Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing provides you with foundation level theoretical and practical knowledge to work in a gym or in a fitness environment. This underpinning knowledge is the pre-cursor to the Level 3 Personal Training qualification.

Ideally suited for those with a passion for health and fitness, this course is nationally accredited and once qualified, you will become a gym instructor, also known as a fitness instructor and can gain employment in a gymnasium or fitness centre in the UK or internationally.

The Level 2 Gym Instructor course is worth 20 CIMSPA CPD points.
