"I now teach Pilates locally in a private venue which I love"
Breege Burke studied Access Mat Pilates with Future Fit and shares her study story.
What course did you study?
I studied Access Mat Pilates as I had never studied any kind of exercise course previously. This meant I did all of the early course work online and then all the practical work on the weekend courses which were excellent, very informative and very intensive.
Why you chose to study with Future Fit?
I chose Future Fit, having looked at a range of providers and felt they provided best value as well as a widely recognised qualification. The number of practical days were high compared to some others and at a good price.
Your top student tip?
My top student tip is practice, practice, practice, you will need this to pass the assessment. I worked with a group of my neighbours for 6 weeks before the assessment and we had great fun and I was confident, able and successful first time on the assessment weekend.
What are you doing now?
I now teach Pilates locally in a private venue which I love, and balance this with other business interests which works well for me.
I first discovered Pilates when recovering from surgery aged 50, it got me into better shape that in my 30's, and I felt it was a great way to keep active, fit and flexible in my 50's, the benefits to me were so dramatic I decided that I would teach it to others and share the benefits of Pilates.
Would you recommend us to a friend?
I would recommend Future Fit, all the team are helpful and knowledgeable. Lizzie who did most of the practical weekends I attended was a powerhouse of knowledge on Pilates and fitness in general and a very inspiring teacher. All the team who run the call centre are very helpful at all times.
