Becki Douglas

"Dancing was my first love, but nutrition has become my passion."
"It is said that, 'variety is the spice of life' - well, mine is certainly very spicy. I get to work in different environments with all sorts of people, and I love it!

Unfortunately, injury put a stop to a career on the stage so Becki decided to pursue her other passion and study for a degree in Nutritional Therapy at the University of Westminster. Graduating in 2005, and winning the University of Westminster award for 'Clinician of the Year', Becki was off to a good start on this new path. Since then, Becki has built up a wealth of experience and expertise working in many fields of Nutrition from teaching and consulting to writing and presenting.

Becki has worked with a number of high profile names and organisations including international footballers, Miss England, celebrity chefs and world heavy weight boxing champions. Alongside her work at the Future Fit School of Nutrition. Becki is also Senior Nutritionist for Champneys health resorts and still finds time to consult at a Personal Training studio and see private clients. Becki started working as a Nutrition and Weight Management Tutor for Future Fit in 2007 and has now progressed to be a Technical Support Tutor for Nutrition and Weight Management, Nutrition for Sport and Exercise and Behaviour Change Coaching for Nutrition. Becki is also an Assessor and an Internal Verifier for Future Fit in Nutrition and Weight Management and Nutrition for Sport and Exercise.

In practice Becki has a vested interest in weight management and hormonal balance and specialises in Food Allergy and Intolerance testing, continually achieving life changing results for clients. Becki believes that to succeed with a career in Nutrition it has to become a lifestyle, not just a job and it is a fantastic time to enter the field with growing public interest and awareness.
