Strength and Conditioning (S&C) is probably one of the most fun and hands-on roles in helping clients and athletes achieve their goals. From plyometrics to periodised programming, strength and conditioning encompass a huge selection of training elements that gives Personal Trainers specific knowledge to get the most out of their clients and athletes.
Recognition
The aim of the Level 4 Strength and Conditioning qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to be able to plan, prepare, deliver and review strength and conditioning programmes that will help athletes to achieve their performance goals.
We are proud that this course is recognised by The UK Strength & Conditioning Association (UKSCA). UKSCA recognise the L4 AIQ qualification, but to be a coach a learner would need to do the L3 UKSCA course.

This course consists of 36% online training and 64% face-to-face workshops, run by our leading trainers with a wealth of experience, who are highly recognised and regarded in the industry.
We provide a high volume of resources through our e-learning, student zone and social media platforms to supplement your learning, going above the standard for training within the industry.
This course assessment is 75% online & 25% Practical assessment.
This course is specifically designed to allow you to work with a wide range of clients within the Strength & Conditioning sector. This can help you increase your client base, work in a variety of areas outside gyms and fitness facilities, and command a higher salary. You will also benefit from the unique position of being able to offer clients a more bespoke service in the health and wellness industry, making a real difference in your clients lives beyond their fitness goals.
As a Strength & Conditioning coach, you will be able to work within a larger strength and conditioning team at a professional sports club under the supervision of an Accredited S&C Coach.
An S&C Coach in this position could be referred to as ‘Assistant S&C Coach’.
This S&C Coach course will also ensure that if you are not interested in working within elite sport, you will be able to utilise the skills developed throughout this qualification to enhance your ability to perform in any of the other roles, such as personal trainer, PE teacher, military PTI, Physio, Osteo, or any other related occupation.
