Basic Mat Pilates

This is the first of three exciting steps to becoming a Level 3 qualified Pilates teacher.

Basic Mat Pilates

Included Course: Basic Mat Pilates

Learn the basics as a Pilates Instructor

This is a 3-day practical mat Pilates course

Starting with the basics of how to deliver safe and effective tuition in mat Pilates, this highly engaging course goes on to teach you the first 15 modified mat-based Pilates exercises you will need to teach at beginner level.

If you are new to the fitness industry, you can complete this diploma via our access route that includes L2 Anatomy and Physiology.

Please note, you cannot teach Pilates until you have completed the Level 3 Diploma in Mat Pilates. For this reason, Basic Mat Pilates cannot be purchased independently.

We offer more practical courses around the country and course dates throughout the year than any other provider, giving you more choice and flexibility to build a training programme to suit your needs.

To find your nearest training location and earliest course dates call our friendly Careers Advisers on 01329 829444 or 0800 458 1388.

As this course includes the Level 2 Anatomy and Physiology, there are no prerequisites to booking it.  If you already hold a L2 recognised fitness qualification this may be used as evidence of prior learning and will exempt you from this element of the course.

"I’ve never done Pilates before; fortunately the Future Fit School of Pilates took me through the basics and my tutor explained everything to me, step by step. The facilities were very good too and I received all the help I needed to be confident in passing my exams and instructing future clients."
