Sports Massage Courses

The completion time for this Level 3 Sports Massage course can vary dependent on the learner. However, on average this course can take around 200 hours based on course content and reading. Based on the average scenario for completing live workshops and assessments it follows a breakdown like below:

• 1st weekend - workshop attendance
• 1 Months practice
• 2nd weekend- workshop attendance
• 1 months practice
• Final stage: Learner books practical assessment

The Level 3 Sports Massage Course has a blended learning approach that includes both online and practical learning. This course is split into 2 weekends of face-to-face learning and1 assessment day, the rest of the course is delivered through e-learning. E-learning elements of the course are online and can be completed at your own pace from the comfort of your home.

Depending on your personal circumstances, help may be available from government funded agencies, including community-based projects and job centres. Anyone from the age of 16 can enrol and complete any of our non-practical e-learning courses. Practical courses can only be attended on or after your 18th birthday but can be enrolled on and booked in advance of this.

Many gyms will accept applicants of 16 years of age, but be aware that if you are planning to work outside of clubs or leisure centres as a Personal Trainer, an Exercise to Music Instructor or a Pilates Teacher, you may not be eligible for the required insurance until you are 18 years old or over.
