Soar as a Personal Trainer with our Functional Training CPD course.
This course is endorsed by CIMSPA.
You’re more likely to retain your clients, earn referrals and get results if you can keep them engaged with interesting and varied training programmes. The Functional Training course is an effective CPD training course, giving you the skills you need to soar as a personal trainer.
Functional Training allows you to work your body as an integrated unit to build strength, improve performance and reduce the risk of injury.
Get to grips with multi-planar movement, whole-body integration and ground reaction force principles, through interactive online lessons and a highly practical workshop.
Having been in the ACSM’s top 10 trends for the past few years, having the knowledge and skills to coach and programme functional training will keep you on top of your game.
Don’t just learn a fixed list of exercises – instead understand the principles that will allow you to design your own, infinite library of moves. You will also learn how to use modern functional equipment commonly seen in fitness environments.
Learn the fundamental ways the human body moves to enable you to optimise performance, improve biomechanics and reduce injury-risk.
Functional training concepts can be applied within personal training, small group training, classes and boot camps, in the gym and outdoors.
Contact the team on 01329 829444 to discuss dates in your area.
You should also be physically fit, as this is a strenuous course.

Becoming a personal trainer isn’t cheap. It’s an investment, which can pay for itself if you come out the other side with the requisite skills to earn a living as a PT. For that reason, it’s not worth cutting corners. When searching for training providers FFT looked like the obvious choice. They had excellent reviews, have been providing expert tuition for 24 years, have a 97% student satisfaction rate and were named UK Active "Training Provider of the Year" in 2016 and 2017. Their part-time online course also meant I could study at home around freelance projects and work at my own pace.
