"People [at Future Fit] are always there to guide and help you on your journey and you want to stop dwelling and make that change. You have to listen to what your mind is telling you. Don’t be afraid!"
“My name is Katie Jones, I am 19 years old, and I am a level 2 Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer in training based in Macclesfield (south of Manchester). I currently work full time as a waitress whilst continuing with my online personal training and CPD courses. During my two years at college, I gained a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Performance.
Since the age of 5, I have played for Macclesfield Hockey Club and found my love for the gym in Summer 2018. I have always valued my health and fitness and loved being active whether it be running, dance, hockey, netball or athletics. However, since starting the gym this is where my love for fitness really came from. I have always been someone who has struggled to gain weight, have very little strength and have no ‘shape’. Seeing the progress I have made and am still making now made the decision easy for me, I wanted to be a part of this industry and help other people believe that they can do anything they put their mind to. Becoming a personal trainer to be isn’t just about putting people through a workout, I want to make it part of people’s lifestyle so they enjoy and benefit from it, both mentally and physically.
I am a very driven person and I am determined to be able to help and empower people in my career. I want to educate people and share my wide range of knowledge as a personal trainer. The courses Future Fit provide is going to enable me to specialise in Nutrition and Exercise Referrals. Future Fit is helping me find my footing and I am very pleased to be doing this at such a young age. I hope to build a business of online coaching and 1:1 Personal Training, whilst teaching and exploring new classes and new ways to teach. “
I study with Future Fit because they have an ongoing status as being the UK’s number 1 best provider within the health and fitness sector. They offer continued support and are guiding me into my future career. They believed that I would be able to do this at a young age

I started seeing how much it benefitted me as a person and how much my physical and mental attitude changed and I want to be able to share to empower other people with my knowledge. My passion has always been there from a young age and I really enjoy it.
Steak med/rare, with creamy mash and a garlic mushroom sauce, with apple sorbet for dessert.
Fitness has changed my life without a doubt for the better. It has improved my mental and physical health and made me aware of the benefits of nutrition and fuelling my body. It has improved my confidence not just in the gym but out as I feel so much better in myself.
My favourite kind of workout is definitely a strength training workout, working with applying progressive overload as I love to be able to push myself.
I was nervous because I was only 18 and had just finished college but I was determined to progress with my dreams, and the support from Future Fit definitely eased those nerves and encouraged me to take my time because there is no need to rush.
I would want to be able to see into the future, as I feel it would benefit some of the decisions I would make.
When enquiring it was the company that was most helpful and felt most inviting. They helped me to find a course that was suited to me and that would benefit me most in my career goals. I am able to keep learning even when my course has finished meaning I can always be learning new knowledge.
