Born in Gosport, Hampshire, Dan began his career in the British Army as a vehicle mechanic with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. After returning from Afghanistan in 2011, he pursued his ambition to become a Physical Training Instructor, completing his all arms PTI course and leading training across Battalion and recruit gyms. Over the following years he helped shape the fitness and discipline of hundreds of soldiers preparing for deployment, developing a passion for teaching and leadership.
After leaving the Army in 2017, Dan continued to apply his expertise as a PTI within the Civil Service, supporting both sea faring troops and permanent staff in Southampton. Alongside his public service role, he built a thriving business as the owner of Bootcamp UK Gosport, one of the fastest growing outdoor fitness communities in the country. His discipline, teamwork and commitment to progress continue to define his approach to fitness and to those he leads.
Dan chose to study the Level 5 Elite Personal Trainer and Nutrition qualifications with Future Fit Training to refresh and elevate his expertise to the highest industry standards.
