Managing Director, iCareiMove | Board Director & Trustee | Systemic Health & Social Care Innovator | Aligned with NHS, VSCE & Public Health Commissioning across South West
I’m the Founder of iCareiMove, and for over 20 years, I’ve been working at the messy, exciting intersection of public health, preventative care, and real community change across South West.
I’m known in the sector as “The Wellness Anarchist.” Why? Because I like to challenge old, traditional models that don’t work anymore. I prefer replacing slow bureaucracy with honest, energetic, and practical health solutions that support the people who usually get left behind by mainstream systems.
Through iCareiMove, I translate big national strategies into practical, life-changing local programmes. My work spans national NHS frameworks, local councils (Cornwall Council), and the Armed Forces, alongside deep roots in our commercial and voluntary sectors. Whether it’s tackling the realities of midlife and menopause or designing major falls-prevention strategies for our ageing population, I care about one thing: creating meaningful, lasting impact that makes sense in everyday life.
Bridging the Gap Between Business, Charity, and Strategy:
While I love being on the ground, I’m equally at home in the boardroom. My leadership experience isn’t just about running a business, it’s about steering regional strategy and governance:
Charity & Governance: Serving as a Board Trustee for the Cornwall Women’s Centre Trust has given me a deep respect for charity regulations, funding structures, and public accountability.
Economic Impact: As a Board Director for the Falmouth BID, I collaborate closely with local government and businesses to drive regional growth and prosperity.
Neurodivergent Leadership: I navigate my work with ADHD and Dyslexia. I consider them my strategic advantages they give me the hyper-focus, fast problem-solving, and creative resilience needed to look at complex health systems and instantly see how to fix them.
At my core, I’m a speaker, educator, and system disruptor. I believe Cornwall’s health and future success rely on bold collaboration, absolute financial discipline, and a deep respect for local community roots.
How I partner with systems and businesses today:
Designing preventative health pathways that keep people independent and out of hospital beds.
Reshaping how communities think about healthy ageing and longevity.
Empowering workplaces to properly support women through midlife and beyond. To AGE WELL.
Turning high-level policy into realistic, community-anchored services.
