"Fitness has allowed me to feel great, feel strong and feel good about myself."
“I am Pippa Turley, a 56-year-old mum of three and an Age-Group Triathlete for Great Britain. I have competed at World and European Championship level for over 10 years now and initially started my international career competing for New Zealand as I am a dual citizen. After school I trained as a PE teacher, then worked in sports marketing for many years, so for my whole life I have been involved in sports and I am passionate about keeping fit and helping others to do the same.
When the kids became a bit older, I decided to get some personal training qualifications with Future Fit to start providing fit camps and running clubs in my local area. A couple of years ago, however, I discovered Whole-Body EMS (Electric Muscle Stimulation) Training. I added two sessions of EMS to my normal triathlon training and had fantastic results. I felt stronger, resolved a lower back issue I had and raced into silver medal position at the World Championship qualifying race.
I was so convinced that EMS helped me, I became a Master Trainer in it with leading EMS equipment provider XBody and now run my own EMS instructor business helping others feel the benefits. I am also the distributor for XBody equipment here in the UK and Ireland.
Finally, I am just about to continue my education journey with Future Fit, starting a nutrition course and a ‘Living Better Longer’ course.”
I chose to study with Future Fit as I know that they are the leading training company in the UK. Future Fit has been established for 28 years and has a great reputation.Pippa Turley

I’ve always been mad about sport – participating in it all my life; studying PE education; working in sports marketing and then turning my attention to personal health and fitness to help others.
No-one, I can think of but I do relate to the motivational speaker Mel Robbins and especially her ‘5-second rule’ https://melrobbins.com
I’ve known Future Fit for a very long time and I know their reputation, so I wouldn’t consider any other training provider.
Follow your passion and you’ll never feel like you do a days work again in your life. There is so much scope and opportunity in this industry and more than ever, people need to look after their health and fitness so professionals in this industry are so important.
Running or swimming
No, I wasn’t nervous, more excited to be developing my knowledge and getting a qualification
My favourite meal is a vegetarian dish (not that I am fully vegetarian!) consisting of loads of roast vegetables cooked in hemp oil, smoked tofu, avocado, pulses and grilled halloumi.
It hasn’t changed my life as such as I’ve always been fit, but what it has done is allow me to feel great, feel strong and feel good about myself.
