"If you are looking into becoming a personal trainer I will always say 'go for it'. I have thoroughly enjoyed doing this course and meeting new people. Remember to stay focused at all times and take regular breaks whilst studying."
Success Story - Rob Taylor
From a young age Rob has been interested in fitness, regularly playing football and going to the gym, but wanted a business once he left the forces.
Where did your interest in fitness come from?
I need to have a good level of fitness for my job and my aim is to use this experience - with the knowledge I have gained from the diploma - to run a successful business when I leave the forces.
Why the Future Fit School of Personal Training?
I chose Future Fit as the website was well presented, the courses were affordable and the staff were very helpful. As I have a lot of work commitments, I liked the fact that you could study in your own time and at your own pace.
I recently put my training on hold, while I was deployed, but on my return getting started with my studies was so easy. The online training is so flexible and clear to understand.
I met a tutor while attending a Future Fit course who was involved with BMF (British Military Fitness). BMF is military style fitness training, which is run outdoors by serving or ex-serving soldiers from the forces.
My tutor soon offered me a job and once I had gained the relevant qualifications I started doing weekend work with BMF in Guildford.
I hope to look at starting my own personal training business towards the end of the year, and to possibly complete extra courses with the School of Personal Training to expand my horizons, such as Level 4 and the Complete Kettlebell Trainer course.
