The page has either been moved or deleted. If you are interested in speaking to us about a specific course, please call us on 01329 829444 or take a look at the FAQs below.

  • Can I work alongside this course?
Yes, this is an online course so you can work at your own pace. Once you've opted for one of the three start dates of the Access to HE program (September, January or May)  our custom-built learning platform offers you complete flexibility, whether you want to study for twelve hours a week or fit the learning around your existing work and time commitments.
  • What are the entry requirements?
To make this Access course as inclusive as possible, there are no specific entry requirements or prerequisites to study. However, in order to ensure that the content is accessible, we suggest we recommend numeracy and literacy at Level 2, (that’s roughly equivalent to Maths or English at GCSE grade 4 and above in England and Wales, the old grade C or above in England and Wales, the current grade C or above in Northern Ireland or above National 4 in Scotland). You need to be 19 or over to start the Access to HE program, but you can commence the Level 5 Nutrition or Level 4 RSPH study prior to this.
  • Do I need to study other nutrition courses alongside this one?
It’s not essential to study any other courses, but we do have a wide range of Nutrition CPD courses should you wish to gain further knowledge of a specific area.
  • How long is the marking process?
For each assignment you submit during the course, the marking time will be around 8 weeks. During this time you can move onto the next part of your course and continue to study.
  • How long will it take to study this course?
Our courses are built with flexibility in mind, our online learning model means that studying can be done around your existing commitments so the length of the course can vary hugely. Completion of the Level 4 RSPH and then the Level 5 Nutrition course will take around 8-10 months. After this, you'll be able to select an Access to HE program start date (September, January or May) and this part of the course will take around 9-12 months.
  • Are there any in person workshops?
No, there are no in-person workshops for this course as ‘hands-on’ practical skills aren’t required for this topic. The course will have virtual workshops to give another method of learning in addition to the online study.
  • Can this course get me into university?
Yes – our Access to HE course is designed to provide an alternate pathway to university for those not wanting to study A Levels. However, we advise checking with your prospective University directly prior to starting the Access course, as entry requirements may differ.
