Future Fit up for hat-trick of awards by ukactive

Future Fit Training are delighted to announce that we have been selected as finalists for three awards at the Active Training Awards 2018.

The finalists for the ukactive awards were revealed this week – and we are delighted to say that Future Fit have been nominated for three awards.

The ukactive awards recognises the very best in physical activity, highlighting suppliers, partnerships and initiatives. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday 15 November 2018.

For the third year in succession, Future Fit have been nominated for 'Training Provider of the Year' - having previously won the award back-to-back in 2016 and 2017.

In addition to this, we have also been nominated for the 'Specialist Training Programme of the Year' award alongside Fit for Sport, and for 'Best Innovation'.

Rob Johnson, Future Fit Managing Director said: “Once again, we are really excited to be part of this event and we look forward to celebrating the industry achievements. To be nominated for three awards is a testament to the hard work that each member of staff has put in to drive forward our passion for getting more people, more active."

What does each category mean?

Specialist Training Provider of the Year

This category is aimed at an education & training programme that enables physical activity professionals to support a targeted population and/or under-represented groups.

Best Innovation

This category is aimed at any education and training programme that is able to demonstrate a unique and pioneering approach that paves the way for an outstanding learner experience.

Training Provider of the Year

This category is aimed at training providers that best support the development and delivery of high-quality skills and education services to clients.

Who are ukactive?

ukactive are a not-for-profit body made up of members and partners across the UK. Their primary mission is to get more people, more active, more often. They work with organisations in all sectors across the UK who have a role to play in helping improve the health of the nation.
