This is a 1-day practical workshop.
The core muscles lie deep within the body and are the foundation for all movement. Fitness professionals need to understand the functions of these muscles and how to train clients to exercise them properly to prevent injury and improve exercise performance.
This workshop provides you with the knowledge and skills you'll need to prescribe safe, effective and challenging core exercise for your clients across a wide range of needs and abilities.
Delve into the structure and function of the core to fully understand how it works.
As well as developing your hands-on practical experience, this workshop is supported by over 100 pages of reference material, which you can read in advance to get the most out of the day.
With the core being an often misunderstood concept, learn the facts that will help you prescribe effective exercises.
Learn how to progress and regress exercises, manipulate exercise variables and integrate equipment to develop sound training plans for core strength and stability.
We also recommend reading our personal training blog posts before starting the course. There is loads of useful material to help cement your understanding of personal training! Read them here:

Did my level 3 personal trainer course with Futurefit. The curriculum is well structured and comprehensive, their online learning and lessons are far superior than other providers. You can get a qualification for cheaper and in a shorter time elsewhere but will never get the deep knowledge what would make you better than an average personal trainer.

Becoming a personal trainer isn’t cheap. It’s an investment, which can pay for itself if you come out the other side with the requisite skills to earn a living as a PT. For that reason, it’s not worth cutting corners. When searching for training providers FFT looked like the obvious choice. They had excellent reviews, have been providing expert tuition for 24 years, have a 97% student satisfaction rate and were named UK Active "Training Provider of the Year" in 2016 and 2017. Their part-time online course also meant I could study at home around freelance projects and work at my own pace.
