Katies's Story

"My name is Katie Jones, I am 19 years old, and I am a level 2 Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer in training based in Macclesfield (south of Manchester). I currently work full time as a waitress whilst continuing with my online personal training and CPD courses. During my two years at college I gained a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Performance.

Since the ages of 5 I have played for Macclesfield Hockey Club and found my love for the gym in Summer 2018. I have always valued my health and fitness and loved being active whether it be running, dance, hockey, netball or athletics. However, since starting the gym this is where my love for fitness really came from. I have always been someone who has struggled to gain weight, have very little strength and have no ‘shape’. Seeing the progress, I have made and are still making now made the decision easy for me, I wanted to be a part of this industry and help other people believe that they can do anything they put their mind too. Becoming a personal trainer to be isn’t just about putting people through a workout, I want to make it part of people’s lifestyle so they enjoy and benefit from it, both mentally and physically.

I am a very driven person and I am determined to be able to help and empower people in my career. I want to educate people and share my wide range of knowledge as a personal trainer. With the courses Future Fit provide it is going to enable me to specialise in Nutrition and Exercise Referrals. Future Fit are helping me find my footsteps and I am very pleased to be doing this at such a young age. I hope to build a business of online coaching and 1:1 Personal Training, whilst teaching and exploring new classes and new ways to teach. "

"I study with Future Fit because they have an ongoing status as being the UK’s number 1 best provider within the health and fitness sector. They offer continued support and are guiding me into my future career. They believed that I would be able to do this at a young age"
