My journey started as a professional dancer, training at Laine Theatre Arts School London. This lead to performing onboard a range of P&O Australia cruise ships with Grayboy Entertainment, travelling all over the world. I was the dance captain/cast manager. I loved my time onboard but was ready for a change. After this, I wanted to pursue my love for fitness and well-being and have been able to turn my love for pilates into a profession. From qualifying as a Pilates Instructor I have created my own business called Kayleigh Jayne Pilates. I used the last year to really push my business online. From that, I have connected with so many amazing people around the world who have joined in on my online classes. I’ve been fortunate to teach classes for brands such as Gymshark, BoohooMan and Gymbella Wellness. I’m proud that I took the leap to do my training as it has been life-changing. Now I run my business in the New Forest area teaching weekly group and private classes. I hope to one day organise a wellness retreat abroad, continue to grow my brand and help as many people along their pilates journey whether they are complete beginners or have been doing pilates for years
" I studied with Future Fit because of the communication and support I received when I was looking for a course. I could feel the want to help and community presence from the brand from the word go. I am proud to be part of the Future Fit family and always recommend them to anyone who is wanting to join the fitness industry, you will be in the best of hands. I look forward to continuing to grow my knowledge with more Future Fit courses starting with gaining my pre and postnatal."
When I was a professional dancer it was important to know how to look after yourself from hours of rehearsals to being show fit ready. This made me learn more about the health and fitness industry which gave me the tools and knowledge which benefited my performance in dance.

Definitely breakfast! I could eat the classic avocado on toast with poached eggs all day every day. When I was based in Australia I discovered a love for Acai bowls, which are a real treat on a hot summers day.
I actually love Pilates and it’s the reason I decided to train to become a Pilates instructor. I always find after a class you feel amazing, that you have worked hard but you have a feeling of calmness and are left energised to get on with the rest of your day. Sometimes you’ll catch me on the spin bikes too!
To fly! I love to travel and imagine if you could fly to a new destination for dinner and be completely somewhere else before the night ends.
When I was looking at courses I wanted something that was going to be thorough with training workshops as I prefer to learn face to face than just online. I found Future Fit had a great service, communicated swiftly and was so friendly when I was emailing across lots of questions with what to expect. Because of the service, I received from just enquiring I knew I wanted to do my training with Future Fit.
Absolutely! I was so nervous and was worried everyone would be better than me. But everyone is in the same boat and they are there to help each other. I made some great friends that I still talk to today.
I’d say it wasn’t until the last year that really made me appreciate the benefits of exercise. It definitely kept me sane throughout lockdown and gave me purpose to start each day. Exercise is a huge release for me. I enjoy the freedom that comes with it, the endorphins afterwards and the mental health improvements from getting the body moving whether that be through pilates or a sweaty session at the gym.
