How can I compare courses and prices?
It can be hard to directly compare courses like for like as there are many courses with similar names but very different content and accreditation - this in turn can mean a difference in pricing. We advise you to always look at course content, course format, the level of qualification you'll receive and the number of CPD points you'll earn to get a better idea of what to expect from the course.
For advice about our courses contact one of our careers advisers who will help you with your individual needs and develop your career change to suit you.

Should I choose the Specialist Diploma in Advanced Personal Training, or should I choose the Diploma in Personal Training and add other courses later?
The Advanced Diploma comprises all the courses that a modern Personal Trainer will need to thrive in the industry all in one place.
However, there is the option to take the Diploma in Personal Training and after you have gained a good grounding in Personal Training it will be important to add to that experience through Continued Professional Development courses.
These courses come with a certain amount of REPs points that each Personal Trainer needs to maintain their yearly accreditation in the fitness industry. These CPD courses are available from all three schools of Future Fit Training. Click on the following link to be taken to our website and find something that interests you.

How long will it take to complete my diploma?
It is difficult to give a definitive answer because every student is different. Some students are able to study full-time, some can commit 16 hours per week – others only 6-8 hours. You may want to mix intensive periods of study with ‘rest’ periods to fit around work and family commitments.
Also, you may be happy to attend courses in any location, giving you a greater choice of courses dates, while others may not. This is why we like to spend time designing your training plan with you before you enrol with us, so that it fits around your commitments and the time you can dedicate to study.

Why do you include courses in Advanced Resistance Training when other providers don’t?
Our school ethos is to deliver training and offer diplomas that are in the best interests of our students and their future clients.
Although resistance training is traditionally a more male-orientated type of exercise geared towards bodybuilders, resistance training is gaining more and more recognition as an effective exercise method for a range of goals including fat loss, aesthetics and functional strength. It is therefore relevant to all types of client.

When can I start working with clients?
You can start working as a personal trainer to build your experience as soon as you have successfully completed the following courses with us: Anatomy and Physiology, Advanced Anatomy and Physiology, Gym Instructor, Personal Trainer, and Nutrition and Weight Management.
This is the minimum requirement to achieve Level 3 (Personal Trainer) status on the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). However, these courses alone will not give you sufficient expertise to sustain a career in the industry or make a good living in the long term, which is why we’ve included a comprehensive range of additional courses in our diplomas.
