I chose Future Fit carefully as it needed to fit in around my hectic and demanding family life. They were on hand if I needed help or just a chat to help me clarify my directions as I hadn't studied for over 10 years and doubted myself often.
Suzy Newson is a previous student at Future Fit Training, who has now gone on to have a successful career as a personal trainer.
Where did your initial interest in fitness/nutrition come from?
I have always lived and breathed fitness since a child. I had a successful professional dancing career worldwide in my teens and twenties, a successful aerobics instructor career throughout my thirties and after my twins I had to take to break before deciding my love of fitness needed a different direction and a bigger challenge so I chose the career of a Personal Trainer.
Why Future Fit?
I chose Future Fit carefully as it needed to fit in around my hectic and demanding family life. Future Fit seemed to have pitched it perfectly for me. The courses, practicals and examinations were over the weekends which suited me as my husband could take care of the twins without finding any further childcare. They were on hand if I needed help or just a chat to help me clarify my directions as I hadn't studied for over 10 years and doubted myself often.
My current role
My current role is full time self employed Personal Trainer and I am lucky enough to have my home gym space too. It suits me to work from home, however I can and do travel to clients within a certain radius.
My Future (what do you want to do in the future?)
My future is to share and spread my love of health and fitness whilst motivating people to reaching their goals. Maybe become recognised as a household name too would be nice.
My top student tip
My top student tip is to diarise your study time and treat it like a very important meeting.
