Why we believe in longer training programmes

Assured quality through longer training programmes
There is always much debate in the fitness world over which training method is best, the long term course or the Intensive course. Advocates of long term courses assure their methods to be a ‘quality approach’, and after 18 years of experience training fitness professionals, Future Fit Training explains exactly why.
Over 18 years’ experience
After being actively involved in the fitness industry for over 18 years, Future Fit Training have gained more than enough knowledge and experience to know exactly what method is most effective for our students when training.
We believe in allowing students to work at their own flexible pace, which fits effectively around any family and work commitments they may have. The length of training will depend entirely on the individual and their needs.
More financially viable
Our long term courses are often more financially viable. At Future Fit Training, instalment options to pay your fees are available, spreading the cost over a longer time period.
Fit in around work and family commitments
On a practical level, there are many people out there who simply can’t afford the time away from work to carry out the intensive training. Work or family commitments make such a long break impossible for many students. If a course fits comfortably around your existing schedule you’ll be happier, less stressed, and will doubtless enjoy the whole experience more.
Less pressure
We believe all of our courses put less pressure on students as they are given more time to complete their course. If they need to take some time out from training, we have the options available to do so. Unlike intensive training where the work load is 24-7 and it can become a very intense and stressful experience.
Higher quality
Our courses are both workshop, online and classroom based. The content within our courses is so vast that it would not be possible to teach all the relevant information in such as short space of time. Because our courses include a practical workshop, our students are able to put into practice what they have learnt and therefore once our students enter the world of work, they have had far more experience in their new career.
The truth behind intensive courses
On an intensive course, while much time will have been spent learning how to teach, very little time will be spent actually practising your skills. Many students who graduate from this style of training find the real learning happens on the job when they start to teach.
MJay Anderson: 'I investigated many courses and chose Future Fit because of the flexible learning style that they offer. Having 2 jobs in lighting and as a dance teacher it was important that I could study at times to fit around my work as taking time off was not an option. There was also plenty of time between my practical workshop and exam day, which gave me time to practice the skills I learned on the course, again, at times to suit me. Since qualifying I now work full time in the fitness industry and teach classes of up to 100 people'
The future
At Future Fit Training we will have managed to build up a strong relationship with our students long throughout their training process. However, the support does not stop there. We work closely with all our students to offer sound career advice once they have qualified.
