This is an e-learning course. Once purchased, you will be allocated a user log in (within 48 hours with exception for weekends) and set up to start learning the following Monday, or a day of your choosing thereafter (start dates may differ around Bank Holidays).

All three of the e-learning courses are available to study in your own time and at your own pace. They contain a mix of media and interactivity.

Assessing muscular fitness

  • Assessment (test) selection and preparation
  • Assessments of muscular fitness

Techniques

  • The theory and application of advanced training techniques to increase muscle strength, power, endurance and hypertrophy (size)
  • Advanced training techniques

Exercise prescription

  • How to conduct a needs analysis
  • Programme design for muscular strength, power, endurance, hypertrophy and power-endurance
  • Perodisation models and their application

Advanced Resistance Training e-learning demonstration

There are on-going online activities and learning assessments as you work through the courses to test your understanding of the subject.

On successful completion you will receive a Future Fit School of Personal Training certificate and if you are registered with REPs, 4 CPD points for each of the three courses within the series (giving you a total of 12 CPD points). If you are CIMSPA registered, you will also receive 7 CIMSPA CPD points.
