One-day Torso Training Course
This one-day Torso Training Module aims to provide you with the knowledge, skill, and creativity to enable you to prescribe safe, effective and challenging torso exercise for a clientele with a wide range of needs and abilities.

Module content:

• Anatomy and kinesiology of the torso
• Exercise and its role in muscle balance and posture
• Core functional strength and stability exercises and their application
• Techniques for developing client’s kinaesthetic awareness
• Traditional torso exercises: their application; the myths and misunderstandings
• Techniques of adaptation and progression in torso training, including: resistance, body position, volume, intensity, type of contraction, etc.
• The use of equipment such as gym/stability balls, benches, steps, etc.
