Pilates Training just got better! Future Fit Training is pleased to announce that we are the first UK training provider to achieve 'Industry Award' status for our newly created Pilates Level 3 Award - The Complete Pilates Diploma. This award is the highest standard of Pilates training open to Pilates Teachers, recognised across the industry and providing full entry onto the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at Level 3.
Pilates Level 3 Award - Background
The Sector Skills Council, SkillsActive, released new Level 3 standards for Mat Based Pilates earlier in 2005. Future Fit Training's Pilates experts worked hard to create an award to meet these standards and were delighted to receive full approval from SkillsActive in December 2005 to deliver this course as an 'Industry Award'.
The Diploma covers the following Modules:
Developed from the 1920's by the legendary trainer Joseph H. Pilates, the Pilates method is a body conditioning fusion of western and eastern philosophies, focusing on strengthening, lengthening and mobilising the body.
A progression on from the Pilates Fundamentals Module, this Workshop involves many more exercises at improver and intermediate level.
A step up from Pilates Improver Module, this Workshop teaches further mat exercises and sequences at a higher level, together with modifications to suit different abilities and postural types.
