The Access Mat Pilates Diploma is designed for those that don’t already have a recognized exercise teaching qualification, such as Exercise to Music, Gym or Yoga.
The Access Mat Pilates Diploma is a nationally recognised programme of study that will give you the theory and practical skills you will need to become one of the highest qualified Mat Work Pilates Teachers in the UK, at Level 3.
Completing this diploma will allow you to become one of an elite band of Pilates Teachers at the forefront of teaching methods in Europe. What’s more, our diploma can be completed in your own time around your own schedule.

Diploma Format
With the Access Mat Pilates Diploma you will be required to attend the three day Access to Mat Pilates Fundamentals course (instead of the usual Fundamentals workshop) and complete the Theory of Anatomy and Physiology online e-learning course.
Having completed the online study and assessments and the 3 Mat Pilates workshops, you’ll go on to undertake your final assessment, which will give you the Active IQ qualification in Instructing Mat Pilates

Career Options
Pilates is now one of the most recognised and popular forms of exercise undertaken by exercise professionals, and it’s a discipline that is fast becoming a favourite form of exercise for people participating in an array of sports and from all walks of life. Pilates can be adapted into sports and other forms of focused training. Ice skaters, footballers and gymnasts regularly use Pilates methods to enhance their own core stability and strength, as well as technique.
Due to its low impact nature, Pilates can be enjoyed by almost anyone, ensuring classes are popular and that Pilates Teachers are in high demand.You will be able to teach Mat Pilates on a one to one basis or in group exercise sessions, at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
Earning Potential
One Mat Pilates class can earn a Teacher between £30 to £50 per hour (London) or £20 to £30 per hour (rest of UK). When you think of how many classes you could fit into a week and the enjoyment you get from your work, it really is a great career move!
Do I Need Any Experience
If you don't have any previous fitness qualifications, don't worry - our Complete Mat Pilates (Access) Diploma is designed to provide you with all the training and knowledge you require to fully qualify you, as a Level 3 Mat Work Pilates Teacher.
To enrol on the Complete Mat Pilates Diploma, you must already have a recognised exercise teaching qualification such as Exercise to Music, Gym or Yoga.
Certification
You will receive 20 REPs CPD points on completion of this diploma and a Level 3 industry award in Mat Pilates - the highest Mat Pilates qualification in the industry.
If you choose to combine the Studio Professional Diploma with the Mat Pilates Diploma you will not only obtain the highest qualification as a Mat Pilates Teacher in the UK (registered at Level 3 on REPs), but you will also be a fully qualified Exercise to Music Instructor, meaning you can add Aerobics to your repertoire
