Course Introduction
Correct nutritional intake is prerequisite to fitness. It’s part of a Nutrition Advisor’s role, to analyse the dietary intake and energy requirements of clients and prescribe the means of meeting their needs. This course expands on the theory learned in the Nutrition and Weight Management course by focusing on the application of nutrition to sport and exercise.
You’ll gain an understanding of the additional nutrient requirements brought about by exercise and you will also be provided with the information needed to advise clients on the use of sports supplements and optimising sporting performance.
What Our Students Say...
"It was really refreshing to learn that eating correctly could have the same benefits as using supplements. This was a real plus for me, as I believe in using natural products to gain results. The learning material ensured that I not only understood the theory behind nutrition for exercise but also how to apply it to improve sporting performance."
