With the Government emphasis on improving the health of the Nation by encouraging people to increase their physical fitness and activity levels and improve their eating habits there has never been a better time to look for a rewarding career in the fitness industry.

Working within the Fitness Industry you can expect a varied and rewarding career.

If the gym environment attracts you, with a Future Fit Training qualification you should have no difficulty finding employment as a Gym Instructor - in fact many health club chains will guarantee you a job interview if you are trained by us.

And the fitness boom has seen many of the large gyms offering clients Personal Training. With our Personal Trainer qualifications you can choose to work either within a gym or for private clients. You may want instead to become an Exercise to Music (Aerobics) Instructor and teach full or part-time and then specialise in teaching Step or Pilates. There are numerous opportunities for Instructors to work for themselves by setting up their own classes or to be part of the fitness team within a health club setting.

With the drive for improved health there is now an even greater emphasis on healthy eating and weight management. If you are interested in helping people to change their lifestyle then getting a qualification in Nutrition and Weight Management is an essential first step. This can be your passport to working as part of a multi disciplinary team within health promotion, and/or setting up a business for yourself.

As for income, many of our ex-students earn £40 per hour and more.
