That’s why the quality of your training and customer service is guaranteed – both personally by our owners and management team and also because all aspects of our operation are regularly audited, both internally and externally.

Our Quality Management System is accredited to ISO 9000, so every part of our business meets the highest known standards. We’re registered to ISO 9001:2008 by BSI, the UK’s national standards body, which regularly audits our processes and systems to ensure we continue to meet the standard.

  • We’re also audited on a regular basis by three separate organisations to ensure that we deliver our courses to national standards and that they’re of the highest quality:
  • City & Guilds, which checks that we’re delivering all courses accredited by them to the highest standard, and that all our resources are working efficiently.
  • Active IQ, which audits the processes and checking mechanisms in place to ensure standardisation of AIQ-accredited courses.
  • Oxford, Cambridge & RSA Examinations (OCR), which accredits all of our NVQs and examines student portfolios to ensure we mark them fairly and to the required standard.

We also work with the following bodies:

  • The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS), which operates the Exercise Register to regulate those involved in the UK exercise and fitness industry. We’re a Founder Member of REPS.
  • SkillsActive, which works with training providers and technical experts to develop a training and qualifications framework that meets the needs of the fitness sector.

Our own, internal standards are actually higher than those demanded by these bodies. Our verification team, comprising the most experienced and highly qualified teachers, makes regular inspection visits to all of our venues, monitoring all of our tutors and every type of course.
